PLEDGE

The Nihon To-ken Hozon Kai and the Japanese sword collector community at large is painfully aware of the horrific events unfolding even now in Ukraine and elsewhere. It may seem strange that we are moving forward with any activities while it seems so much is at stake in the world. We feel strongly that if good people retreat and refuse to go about their normal lives in the face of such news, then evil wins and we are all diminished. We therefore pledge to bring you a full and complete shinsa, applying all of our years of expertise, even as we dedicate this event and say a prayer for all persons who find themselves displaced or under threat of war.
